How would I register with The Associates Group? |
| A: |
You would begin by completing the employee information portion located on the top of the form i.e. Name, SIN number, Date of Birth, the Department you are working for, Job Title and Work Site Location. The Reporting Date will be the first day of each week and the Week Ending is the last day of the week. You will then fill in the dates and hours worked per day and total your hours for the entire week, not including your lunch. Your manager will sign the timesheet and you will indicate if your assignment is continued and if would like your cheque mailed or picked up (located at the bottom of the page). Finally, you will fax the timesheet to our office by every Monday before 10:00am. |

Who can sign the timesheet to authorize it? |

Your direct supervisor or manager will sign your timesheet weekly. |

How do I get my vacation pay? |
| A: |
Your vacation pay of 4% is added to your pay immediately and paid out with every cheque issued. |

How many hours are required before I can be paid overtime? |
| A: |
As per Ontario Labour Code, if you work over 44 hour per week, you will receive overtime pay at a rate of time and a half (1.5 times your current rate of pay) for every additional hour. |

How would I get my T-4? |

T-4’s are mailed annually to your current address by the deadline Canada Revenue Agency posts. |

Does The Associates Group allow candidates to be incorporated and not have taxes withheld? |
| A: |
Yes, any candidate can opt to be paid as a subcontractor as long as they provide us with they business number and GST number. |
